Optimation originated from AES Panelshop and has grown into an independent, innovative software and hardware company. Our mission is to digitalise panel building and make it accessible to everyone. With our Optima platform and our in house machines such as Testudo and Castellum, we are a leader in the industry.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you work in a small multidisciplinary team alongside software and hardware engineers. Together, you develop high tech solutions that make a real impact. You have plenty of freedom to shape your ideas and you see your designs directly translated into production.

What you will do

• Design frames, housings and modules in 3D CAD (e.g. SolidWorks or Inventor)
• Contribute to the mechanical layout and modularity of our machines
• Create technical drawings for production
• Collaborate with suppliers on components and manufacturing
• Test and improve prototypes together with the team

What you bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similarExperience or interest in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Inventor
• Basic knowledge of materials, production techniques and modular design
• You are creative, practical and work with precision
• Good command of Dutch and English
